Inmate walks off work site near Pringle Park

Update 2:30 p.m.: The inmate has been brought back into custody, according to Oregon Department of Corrections officials.

An inmate from Mill Creek Correctional Facility walked away from a work crew near Salem’s Pringle Park on Friday, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections.

Timofey Erofeeff, 29, was last seen heading towards Bellevue and Church Streets around 12:15 p.m., the agency said.

Erofeeff is white, has brown hair and eyes, stands at 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing denim jeans and a navy blue sweatshirt, according to the Department of Corrections.  

Erofeeff was in custody at Salem’s minimum-security prison for burglary.
