Mission Street closed between Airport Road and 25th Street after fatal car crash
Update 4:15 p.m. – A portion of Southeast Mission Street remains closed after a fatal car accident Monday afternoon.
A driver in a Jeep SUV ran a red light traveling northbound on Southeast 25th Street hitting a garbage truck that was traveling eastbound on Mission Street, the Salem Police Department said.
