Wednesday
On Wednesday, Riverfront park will host Budweiser’s “King of Country Concert” featuring award-winning country music singer Tracy Lawrence, Jackson Michelson, Britnee Kellogg, and 45 Away. The concert will benefit Folds of Honor, a group that provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members.
Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased online. The event begins at 6 p.m. at 200 Water St. N.E.

Fourth of July
CherryFest NW, formerly the Bite and Brew of Salem, fills Riverfront Park Fourth of July weekend with music, food and more than 80 beers and ciders to drink.
On Independence Day at the festival, 200 Water St. N.E., there will be family-friendly games like hula hoop contests, a water balloon toss and limbo, and carnival rides.
Warm up your bean bags. The Northwest Cornhole Classic takes place on Saturday at 10 a.m. and athletes will be competing for the chance to win hundreds of dollars in prize money.
The event is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday. It’s open from 11 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free Thursday and Sunday. It costs $5 or $20 max per family on Friday and Saturday. Kids aged 5 and under are free. More info can be found on the CherryFest website.
Celebrate the Fourth of July Run around Riverfront Park. Want an additional challenge before indulging in some barbecue? Participate in the Stars and Stripes Challenge, a 5k run with additional calisthenic challenges, like squats and pushups.
Runners get a free beer or cider at CherryFest NW. There’s also a half mile run for kids 12 and under.
The 5 and 10k races starts at 8:15 a.m. The children’s race begins at 9 a.m. at the Riverfront Park Amphitheater. More info and registration can be found online.

Bring your best red, white and blue decorations for bikes, scooters, wagons and strollers for the Court-Chemeketa Kids Parade on the Fourth of July.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. at 1780 Court St. N.E.
The parade proceeds up Court Street to 20th Street Northeast, then through McRae City Park, down Chemeketa Street to 15th Street, finally returning up Court Street. Everyone is invited to participate and cheer in the event.
Refreshments will be available for the kids after the parade. More info can be found at the parade’s website.
Saturday
Enjoy music paired with wine as the Summer Uncorked music series continues this weekend at Legacy Estate Vineyard.
High-energy band Dance Hall Days perform a variety of music, from Toto to Beyonce, that get audiences grooving. The Weather Machine will perform its folk story songs set in indie-rock anthems and Portland-based band Dirty Uncle Rose will perform alt country tunes.
There are tent and RV camping options available at the vineyard for an additional cost of $25 or $40, respectively. Tickets to the concert cost $25 and can be purchased on the Eola Hills Winery website. Music starts at 3 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. July 6. 1600 Oak Grove Road.
Head underground to shop for handmade goods like soaps, breads and buttons. Blast Off Vintage is hosting its Underground Market Saturday to highlight local vendors that sell handmade goods or provide services like tarot card reading or massages.
