Sandi Elwood, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate Professionals of Salem took a series of videos in Detroit on Wednesday, Sept. 9. They show most businesses, such as the Cedars Restaurant and Kane’s Marina, were destroyed in the fire that swept though the mountain community Monday night.

CORRECTION: The restaurant that burned in Detroit was the Cedars Restaurant and Lounge. An earlier version identified it as the Timbers. Salem Reporter apologizes for the error.
