Your Tuesday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
The city is in for near-certain rain Wednesday and some fog after 10 p.m., the National Weather Service reports.
But Thanksgiving should bring sun and clear skies to the Mid-Valley, with a high around 49 degrees.
Nights will be below freezing starting Thursday, with a low around 28 on Saturday. If the forecast holds, it’s likely the Salem Warming Network will need some helping hands to get warming shelters opened for Salemites in need. You can view needs or sign up online here.
