Last week, the group discussed several possible ways to restore money to keep irrigation turned on at some city parks during the summer, but tabled any decisions for future meetings. Our story here can help you get caught up.

The committee meets at 6 p.m. tonight at City Hall. Members could wrap up budget discussions tonight and forward the budget to the city council, or they could opt to hold one more meeting next week if the group thinks it needs more time.

We’ll bring you a recap Thursday if any major decisions are made.

Committee agendas are posted here, and the meeting will be streamed live on YouTube here

Anyone can sign up to testify at the meeting about any part of the budget, or submit written comments. More about how to weigh in on the budget is here.
