Your Tuesday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
A longtime Pentacle Theatre acting coach will pass along her skills to the next generation of performers with another round of her popular 11-week acting workshop.
Jo Dodge has been running the workshops since 1981 and has helped train over 2,000 students. Participants will learn how to memorize scripts word-for-word and gain a greater understanding for their characters, subtext and stories, while working together in collaboration and community.
The workshop has been a stepping stone for many budding performers to enter the Pentacle Theatre stage, in acting roles and as directors. The workshop is open to all skill levels.
The classes will be held every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. starting Jun. 13. It is $105 to register and spaces are limited.
