Warmer weather means a few upcoming chances to hit local parks.
You can learn about local parks, plants, animals and water resources through The Great Raindrop Scavenger Hunt, a self-guided hunt that lets you learn and explore.
Two local parks have adventures in store.
Bush’s Pasture Park, 890 Mission St. S.E., has a raindrop on a sign post at the far end of the Mission Street parking lot, near the creek. Scan the QR code on it to find the adventure.
Keizer Rapids Park, 1900 Chemawa Rd. N., has a hunt with clues on the city of Keizer’s Facebook page.
Salem Parks Ranger Mike Zieker will also lead an urban birding adventure Saturday, March 7, at Clark Creek Park, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Register online or email [email protected] to get more information. The park is at 745 Ratcliff Dr. S.E.
