Officials with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs have said little publicly about their plans for a major Willamette National Cemetery expansion in Salem.

But a document briefly published on their website earlier this month sheds more light on the proposal, which would convert an operating vineyard into a new site for veteran burials in Oregon.
