Your Monday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
City staff will bring free hot dogs, big trucks, robot demonstrations and other activities to Riverfront Park Thursday afternoon for Salem Service Day.
The event, previously called “Public Works Day,” recognizes the hard work of city employees who maintain our roads and parks. There, people can grab a free hot dog, watch demonstrations of city services, see robots and drones in action and find large city vehicles on display. There will also be games for kids and booths.
It will run from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The park is at 200 Water St. N.E.
