The Community Business and Education Leaders group is hosting a gathering July 11 at 8 a.m. to explore the impact of conflict and learn new skills to navigate it.

Kasha Coombs, director of the Peace Project, and colleague “TK” Ford will lead the session. They work locally “with teens, families and organizations, helping them build confidence to deal with conflict and rebuild healthy relations,” according to an event flyer.

“We’ll show you how to experience conflict in a way that’s transformational,” Coombs said in a statement.

The session includes a free continental breakfast, and held at the REC, 3500 River Rd N., in Keizer. Learn more and register in advance on the CBEL website.
