If you have a Christmas tree to dispose of, your local Scout troop may be able to help take it off your hands.
Salem Troop 19 is recycling Christmas trees and will pick up from south Salem homes this weekend and next for a suggested $10 donation. You can find the details here and sign up here.
Keizer’s Troop 121 is also collecting trees at Willamette Valley Bank in Keizer, 5140 River Rd. N. on Dec. 30, 31 and Jan. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Their suggested donation is $20. More details are here.
