Good evening, Salem.

Do you want a hand in deciding how the city of Salem confronts its budget challenges?

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

Salem city councilors are seeking people to serve on the city’s revenue task force, a group that will begin meeting in January. The task force is charged with “explor(ing) new, additional revenue sources and adjustment to fees to sustain those services that do not have a dedicated revenue stream,” according to the city.

Members will work with the city’s budget committee and the council as the 2024-25 budget is developed.

Prospective members must apply by Jan. 4, and the city council will select members on Jan. 22. Find out more and apply here.
