A local attorney who’s long been involved in Salem civic and business organizations is launching a new effort to engage in city politics.
Mark Hoyt announced the formation of the group, called Businesses for Community, this week at a Salem Chamber event. He explains his vision below for improving the region’s business friendliness – a topic that’s shaping up to be a focal point of the governor’s race.
