Your Thursday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
Cat lovers can get some extra cuddles tonight for a good cause.
Santiam Brewing is hosting a kitten snuggle time from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in partnership with local rescue Meow Village. For a $5 donation, visitors can snuggle kittens and help socialize them while enjoying a beer.
The event is at the brewery, 2544 19th St. S.E. A dollar from every pint sold benefits Meow Village. Learn more on the Santiam Facebook page here.
