Good evening, Salem.

Tomorrow night, Salem’s Concerts in the Park are back, bringing rock, funk and classical Mexican music to Riverfront Park.

The free, family-friendly concert starts at 6 p.m. at the Gerry Frank | Salem Rotary Amphitheater, 200 Water St. N.E.

Friday night’s performers include The RiverCity Royals, the advanced students of RiverCity Rock Star Academy in Salem. The second band, Rondalla Sentimiento Latino, is a Salem guitar ensemble playing romantic and popular folklore Mexican music. The closers are Salem’s Boundless Joy, which mixes metal, rock and funk.

Food and drink will be available for purchase. The next concert will be on Sept. 13. For more information, see the city’s website.
