Earlier this week Pete Buttigieg, the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, shared his support of Salem’s Front Street makeover on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He also linked an article from Salem Reporter we wrote back in July. A Salemite on the local Reddit page said, “Thought it was cool to see Pete share a Salem Reporter article and get our little Capitol some national attention.”
