Good morning, Salem.
In Marion County, just 25% of voters had returned ballots as of Tuesday morning – 57,357 voters. Polk County’s turnout was 26%, or 16,893 ballots returned.
In 2020, during the last presidential election, Marion County voters had returned 104,231 ballots one week out from Election Day – a turnout of 49%, according to Secretary of State data. Polk County turnout on the same day was 50%, with 60,670 ballots returned.
