The city’s Park After Dark program is happy to make the introduction. It’s a 2-mile walk, complete with “the symphony of owls, crickets, and frogs,” and the chance to see bats, while learning about them.

The event is for kids ages 9-12, and their families. One will be Friday, Nov. 15, and the other will be Saturday, Nov. 16. Both walks are from 4:30-6:30 p.m. They’ll take place rain or shine.

Tickets are $10 for individuals and $20 for families.
