The road is closed between Southeast Oxford and McGilchrist streets in both directions while the drainage system is repaired. The work is expected to take two to three weeks, according to the city of Salem

Travel lanes, sidewalks and parking spaces in the area are all closed, though local access is open to residents and businesses. Detours are in place.

“Drivers are urged to be cautious while traveling, follow all signage, and watch for workers in the area,” the city said in a news release.

Find up-to-date information on closures on the city’s Current Road Conditions Map. The city can also be reached at 503-588-6211 or [email protected].
