Good morning, Salem.

If you’ve been following Salem news, you know school district leaders have been talking about budget cuts for a few months.

That mean there were few surprises in the budget plan Salem-Keizer School District Superintendent Andrea Castañeda presented Tuesday night. The document largely lays out the technical details of what she and other district leaders announced in April.

But one immediate impact is being felt in high schools, where some elective courses with lower enrollment have been canceled. Our budget story below details what we know at this point about those changes.
