A new player on the Salem theater scene is hosting an open house this weekend.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

Leaders of Bridgetown Conservatory will be at the Reed Opera House’s Verona Studio Theatre on Sunday, June 2, from 12-3 p.m. The Portland-based theater education nonprofit is taking over the programs run by the now-defunct Enlightened Theatrics in Salem.

The event will feature light refreshments, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment, with Bridgetown Founder and Artistic Director Rick Lewis there. The opera house is in downtown Salem, 189 Liberty St. N.E.
