Salem’s parks, museums and restaurants landed it a spot on Yelp’s list of Top 10 Family-Friendly Travel Destinations for 2024.

The site, known for its crowd-sourced reviews, listed Salem in tenth place after cities like Fredericksburg, Texas and Burlington, Vermont.

The list highlighted Salem’s Riverfront Park and carousel, the Gilbert House Children’s Museum and Word Of Mouth Neighborhood Bistro.

The ranking was made by looking at data for keywords “good for kids” and “family friendly,” according to the post.
