Child abuse awareness month will be observed throughout Salem starting Monday, April 1.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

“Equitas,” the sculpture in front of the Salem Police Department station, and the Union Street Railroad Bridge will both be lit blue to raise awareness.

Blue ribbons will also be hung from a tree in the north end of Riverfront Park through this month. Each ribbon represents a victim of child abuse.
