The panel entitled “Strengthening Famillies” will bring together leaders of the Kennedy, Highland and Hallman-Northgate family councils on Thursday, May 2 from 8-9:30 a.m. People can attend in person and enjoy a free breakfast at the Catholic Community Services Seymour Center’s Bonaventure Room, 3737 Portland Rd. N.E., or watch virtually via Zoom. Register online HERE.
The event will be hosted by Community Business and Education Leaders, a collaboration started in 2019 to address family and educational needs within the Salem-Keizer School District.
Strengthening families “is about adopting five protective factors that enable children to thrive, enhancing child development and reducing child abuse and neglect,” according to an event listing. “Come help us embrace local change.”
