McKay High School’s acapella group is heading to a national competition for the second year in a row.

The Scots-Acapella group of 13 students took first place in a March 9 semifinal in the Los Angeles area. They’ll now perform in New York on April 26 for nationals.

Their winning performance included “Call On Me” by India Carney & STORYBOARDS, “The End of Love” by Florence + The Machine, and “Little Blue” by Jacob Collier & Brandi Carlile, according to teacher Hannah Abercrombie.
