Good morning, Salem.
The street will close between Northeast Capitol and 14th Streets at the Union Pacific railroad crossing from Tuesday at 6 p.m. to Wednesday at noon.
Crews will be repairing the railroad crossing at the intersection. Traffic will be detoured in both directions during the construction, according to the city of Salem.
The closure will include travel lanes, sidewalks and parking spaces near the train tracks.

“Drivers are urged to be cautious while traveling, follow all signage, and watch for workers in the area,” the city said in a statement.
