Good morning, Salem.
The Willamette Heritage Center is now free for SNAP and Oregon Trail Card Holders.
The museum and historic woolen mill, located at 1313 Mill St. S.E., has joined the nationwide Museums for All program, from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. It’s the only Salem-area museum that has joined, according to a statement from the Willamette Heritage Center.
One SNAP or Oregon Trail Card, presented with valid photo ID, will admit up to four people. The discount applies to self-guided museum tours, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There’s no limit on visits.
