The Latest Stories For You From Salem Reporter

Good morning, Salem.
Salem’s community theater is hosting auditions for its upcoming production of “The Lost Virginity Tour,” where four friends from a retirement community decide to go on a road trip to visit the locations of their first romantic encounters.
Auditions will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, at the theater’s downtown rehearsal space, 197 Liberty St. S.E., starting at 1 p.m. Learn more about what to prepare here.
More of a theater-watcher? Pentacle’s next show, “You Can’t Take It With You,” opens Friday, Jan. 30. The New York Times described it as “a portrait of tax-dodging, rule-defying, work-evading, goodhearted folk who live only to please themselves and suffer no serious consequences.” Showtimes and tickets are available here.
