The Latest Stories For You From Salem Reporter

Good morning, Salem.

With sour weather behind us, we have rescheduled our Town Hall on Gun Violence.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

The new time and date: 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15.

The need to inform and involve you and others is more vital than ever.

The gun play goes on in Salem.

Salem police shared recently that young adults were “brandishing” a gun at people outside a Salem home. After a pursuit, three people fleeing in a car were arrested and two guns recovered.

At a Northeast Portland bar, two men involved in a fight fired off several rounds from a gun. One person was shot.

We’re glad our panelists and the folks at the Elsinore Theatre and Capital Community Media could commit again to this important community event.

At the Town Hall, experts will share the facts about surging gun violence in the community. This powerful program will pull back the curtains on this safety threat – and share how you can make a difference. This is a place for you as a citizen to help solve a community challenge.

This is free and open to the public. I invite you to join us for an extraordinary evening.

LOCATION: Elsinore Theatre, 170 High St. S.E.

FREE TICKETS: Available online
