Friends of Pioneer Cemetery, a historical preservation group, is inviting the community to help with spring pruning and cleanup at the site.

The work will be done on Saturday, March 2, and Monday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Please bring water, gloves, and good walking shoes,” a city event listing said.

Volunteers will meet at the cemetery at 2201 Commercial St. S.E.
