Thanks to everyone who attended our Town Hall on Gun Violence event last night. We’re grateful for everyone who took time out of their schedules to help begin a community dialogue around an important issue, including our panelists, interpreters, high school volunteers and audience members.

Finally, a correction. A column we published yesterday about a new outdoor classroom at the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge had the incorrect date for the ribbon cutting. It will be held March 16, not February 16. Our apologies for the error.
