Good morning, Salem.

Customer donations at the South Salem Ace Hardware raised $11,000 to provide over 900 kids in foster care and shelters in Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties with new sets of pajamas for the holidays.

The effort made up a large portion of the United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley’s 2023 Pajama Drive, which expects to distribute around 1,500 sets of pajamas this year.
