The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the body of Francisco “Frankie” J. Davidson, 37, of Aumsville, was found the morning of Nov. 26 on De Armond Road near Airlie Road. The area is west of Highway 99 between the unincorporated communities of Airlie and Suver.

Davidson was known to frequent the Salem area, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

The agency said its investigation was still pending and it would not share additional information.

The sheriff’s office asked that anyone with knowledge of Davidson or his whereabouts leading up to Nov. 26 contact Detective David Shorter at [email protected] or call 503-831-1753. Calls can be anonymous
