The university’s Small Farms Program will test well water for nitrates for free Thursday, Aug. 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at West Salem Market, 1260 Edgewater St. N.W. Bring a half cup in a clean container. For more information, see the event here.
