A new music festival, Capital City Retro Fest, will take over Riverfront Park this weekend, as Hailey Cook reports below.
The Oregon State Fair begins Friday.

Punx in the Park comes to Riverfront Park Sunday, Aug. 31, for its signature mix of concerts and resource festival for youth.
The Salem Art Fair & Festival returns to Bush’s Pasture Park from Friday, Sept. 12-Sunday, Sept. 14.
Pride in the Park will be at Riverfront Park on Saturday, Sept. 20.
