Next month, Pentacle Theatre will hold open auditions for “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley,” a play starring Mary, the oft overlooked middle sister of “Pride and Prejudice.”

It takes place two years after the end of the novel, as Mary begins to grow tired of being stuck in the middle of her sisters’ romantic escapades.

The Pentacle is casting for five female presenting roles and five male presenting roles of various ages.

Auditions will be 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the Pentacle Theatre’s downtown rehearsal studio at 197 Liberty St. S.E. Learn more about the roles and how to audition on the Pentacle’s website.

The play will run Nov. 29 through Dec. 21.
