Good morning, Salem.

Yesterday, Salem celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with volunteer work throughout the city and several events.

The Salem-Keizer NAACP event included speakers and student performers from the Salem area. Featured keynote speaker Dr. Rev. Osagyefo Sekou spoke about King’s legacy and the importance of supporting the next generation of activists.
