Good morning, Salem.

Chemeketa Community College is again offering free summer courses for high school graduates from the Class of 2023 and incoming seniors.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

The five-week classes are scheduled for June 26 to July 29 on topics including public speaking, film styles, cultural geography, geology, precalculus, philosophy and psychology. Some courses are offered online and others are in person.

Chemeketa covers tuition, fees and textbook costs.

High school graduates and rising seniors in Marion, Polk, Yamhill and Linn counties are eligible to sign up, as well as homeschool students registered through the Willamette Educational Service District.
