Police have identified Jesus Ramos-Torres, 23, of Salem, as the man found dead from a gunshot wound in the Southeast Mill Creek neighborhood early Thursday morning. They asked for the public’s help Friday afternoon in investigating the death.

Salem police said Juan Martinez Barron, 61, was found Jan. 11 night near the intersection of Portland Road and Northeast Northgate Avenue with life-threatening injuries from a bicycle crash. Barron died Saturday morning at Salem Hospital.
