Good morning, Salem.

Starting Thursday, Oct. 3, crews will start work replacing signs and adding traffic cameras to the Interstate 5 corridor between Salem and Albany, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

The new boards displaying traffic updates will be installed at several southbound locations and one northbound. New traffic cameras will be installed on southbound I-5 milepost 249 and northbound I-5 mileposts 248 and 247, near Enchanted Forest.

The work will mostly be done during the day, and will help improve TripCheck which shares road and weather conditions. It may cause occasional delays and night time lane closures, according to the department.
