Two Salem elementary schools need volunteers to read to students for about an hour a week.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

It’s part of the SMART Reading program, a children’s literacy nonprofit that helps students get regular access to books and one-on-one time with adults to read.

Yoshikai and McKinley elementary schools in Salem need volunteers, as well as several other schools in neighboring communities.
