You can celebrate the official start of summer Friday with an annual Salem tradition: Make Music Day.

The free event, held every June 21, brings musicians to venues across the city for public performances.

Our preview of the event is below, and you can see a full schedule here. Our reporters and photographers will be out capturing the day too.
