Good morning, Salem.
Lynelle Wilcox, the shelter director, said they’re seeking people available evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays; and mornings from 6-8 a.m. Wednesday and Thursdays.
Tasks include welcoming guests, logging them into the shelter, providing a dinner head count to staff, receiving and logging donations.
Volunteers are also needed for on-call help if regular volunteers or staff are sick.
The shelter is located at 1910 Front Street N.E.
