Good morning, Salem.
Dr. Jian Zhang is a chief research engineer at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington, one of 17 labs of the U.S. Department of Energy.
Zhang researches “building energy modeling, building energy codes, and energy efficiency,” according to an event listing. He leads the lab’s Building Simulation & Design Group and is an editorial board member of the Journal of Building Physics.
“Dr. Jian Zhang will present some of the innovative work that PNNL and other labs are doing to address energy storage, innovation in building design, carbon sequestration, and energy grid management,” the event listing said. Find more information HERE.
The meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Willamette Heritage Center’s Dye House, 1313 Mill St. S.E.
Registration is free for city club members and $10 for nonmembers.
