Expect heavy traffic heading over the Marion Street Bridge right now.

Firefighters are responding to a rollover crash and extricated one person from a car. The person had minor injuries, according to Salem Fire Department Deputy Chief Brian Carrara.

Traffic is still backed up due to the damaged vehicles on scene, Carrara said just before 5 p.m.

In other west Salem news, student artists in west Salem could win $100 for designing a sticker supporting local businesses

The Edgewater Partnership, a Salem Leadership Foundation project, is seeking 3×3 inch designs in any medium using the phrase “Shop West Salem.”

Designs can be submitted until April 19, and a winner will be announced May 1. Submit designs to [email protected]
