The Saxon Foundation could use some hands making care packages for South Salem High School educators.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

The nonprofit, which supports school programs, is hosting an event Friday, March 15, at 4:30 p.m. to put care packages together for the school’s 222 teachers and staff following a lockdown last week prompted by a shooting involving multiple students.

People who want to help can message the foundation on Facebook for the address. Coffee cards and note cards are also needed, and people can donate to the effort on Venmo @saxonfoundation.
