Good morning, Salem.
You can now manage your checkouts, search the catalog and place holds at the Salem Public Library on your phone using the newly restored Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service Mobile app.
The app stopped working in late November, when an app developer unexpectedly withdrew support for the system.
CCRLS announced the app’s return Wednesday afternoon. It should work if you already have it installed, or it can be downloaded anew from the App Store and the Google Play store, according to the service.
“We know that this is a valuable tool for many library users and appreciate your patience as our vendor worked to remedy the problem,” CCRLS said in a Facebook post.
