Downtown streets are a little brighter in the evening, with tens of thousands of holiday lights covering poles.
They’re up ahead of this Friday’s holiday parade, a bigger and longer event than last year that will feature Buddy the Elf, Santa and a cameo from a fire truck used in the 1997 Nicholas Cage film “Con Air.”
