Good evening, Salem.

The Oregon Arts Commission is giving a boost to 10 Salem-area nonprofits dedicated to the arts.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

Each organization will get $2,363 through the commission’s Small Operating Grant program, according to to a news release.

Such grants go to arts organizations across the state with annual budgets less than $150,000.

The Salem-based nonprofits receiving the grants are Casa de la Cultura Tlanese, Festival Chorale Oregon, the Keizer Creative Art Association, the Keizer Heritage Foundation, Keizer Homegrown Theatre, Oregon Artists Series Foundation, Oregon Spirit Chorus, Salem Philharmonia Orchestra, Salem Pops Orchestra and Willamette University.
